Lessons learned related to early childhood inclusion
Discussion
One thing I learned that helped my son with inclusion was if the environment was set up to foster his independence (i.e. adaptations to materials, modifications to schedule), when the adults were less intrusive, the children led the activities including him in ways we adults could never have imagined.
